KESUBURAN TANAH PADA PERKEBUNAN KARET DI PAGAR AGUNG KECAMATAN LAHAT KABUPATEN LAHAT SUMATERA SELATAN
Soil fertility is the ability of soil to support plant growth by providing balanced nutrients. Low soil fertility makes constraints that can limit plant growth. This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility on rubber plantation land in Pagar Agung, Lahat District, Lahat Regency. This research used a detailed survey method with a map scale of 1:4,000. Soil sampling was taken compositely at 9 sample points in the 0-30 cm layer. Soil chemical properties analyzed are; soil pH, soil C-organic, soil N-total, soil P-available, soil K-dd, soil Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), and Base Saturation in soil. The results of the analysis of soil fertility status in the Pagar Agung rubber plantation are classified as low with the results of soil pH analysis classified as very acidic, ranging from (4.10 - 4.47). C-organic soil is classified as low to moderate, which ranges from (1.32 - 2.10 %). Soil N-total is classified as low to moderate, ranging from (0.16 - 0.35 %). Soil P-availability is classified as very high, ranging from (15.65 - 27.90 ppm). Soil K-dd is low, ranging from (0.19 - 0.25 cmol kgˉ¹). Soil Cation Exchange Capacity is low, ranging from (10 cmol kg-1 - 15 cmol kg-1). Soil base saturation is very low, ranging from (6.66 - 11.05 %).
