EVALUASI IMPLEMENTASI PENGENDALIAN HAMA DAN PENYAKIT TANAMAN TERPADU OLEH PETANI JAGUNG DI KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
In Indonesia, one of the main food ingredients is rice and corn, which always increase with every need of the Indonesian population. However, the quality of production has decreased due to pests and diseases. This study aims to determine whether corn farmers in Ogan Iir Regency have carried out integrated pest and plant disease control measures correctly. This research was conducted using a purposive sampling method with interviews with corn farmers regarding the implementation of integrated pest and plant disease control for maize. The results of the research were that there were 2 pests that attacked corn plants in Pulau Semambu Village, Palemraya Village, Timbangan Village, Tanjung Pering Village, and Permata Baru Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, namely Spodoptera frugiperda and Locusta migratoria. While the diseases found were leaf spot disease, leaf rust, and leaf blight on corn plants. Based on the results of research conducted on 7 corn farmers, a score of 79.29% was obtained for applying IPM, which means that corn farmers in Ogan Ilir Regency have carried out IPM well. There is a positive correlation between the PHT score and the percentage and intensity of diseases and pests. Keywords: Evaluation, Corn, IPM
