ANALISIS KESTABILAN LERENG PADA TAMBANG TERBUKA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PERANGKAT LUNAK SLIDE 6.0
Slide 6.0 is a geotechnical software specifically designed for slope stability analysis. In this study, material data was obtained using the Rock Mass Rating (RMR) and Geological Strength Index (GSI) methods. The collected data was then processed using Slide 6.0 and analyzed with the Janbu method and the Morgenstern-Price method to determine the factor of safety. The analysis results were further examined through Back Analysis, revealing the presence of a weak layer that contributed to slope failure. The factor of safety obtained from the Janbu method was 0.774, while the Morgenstern-Price method yielded 1.154, indicating that the slope was in an unstable condition. Consequently, a slope design recommendation was proposed and reanalyzed, resulting in an improved factor of safety of 1.314 for the Janbu method and 1.590 for the Morgenstern-Price method. Based on this study, it was observed that the Janbu method consistently produced a factor of safety that was, on average, 15% lower compared to the Morgenstern-Price method.
