ANALISIS MARGIN PEMASARAN DAN FARMER'S SHARE TELUR ITIK DARI KABUPATEN BREBES KE KOTA PALEMBANG
The objectives of this research are 1) Describe the marketing channel pattern for duck eggs in Brebes district to Palembang city. 2) Calculate how big the marketing margin for duck eggs is in Brebes district to Palembang city. 3) Analyze farmer’s share duck eggs in Brebes district to Palembang city. This research was carried out in the city of Palembang, South Sumatra Province and Brebes district, Central Java Province. This location was determined deliberately (purposive) and it is considered that these two locations are potential marketing and production centers for duck eggs. The data collection period will be carried out from September to November 2023. Use method surveys and interviews with sample selection using the method snowball sampling. Based on research conducted by the marketing channel for the supply of duck eggs from Brebes Regency in Palembang City, this is no longer carried out due to increased transportation costs, the COVID-19 pandemic, and a shortage of feed supplies for ducks so that the production of duck eggs produced can only cover local demand in Brebes Regency. There are three categories of marketing channels found in Palembang City, namely: Channel I (breeders sell directly to consumers without any intermediary institutions), Channel II (breeders distribute to traders and then to consumers) and Channel III (breeders distribute to several intermediary institutions such as traders collectors then to retailers and then to IDR 700, and Channel III is IDR 640. Meanwhile, the Farmer's share received by farmers in channel I was 100%, channel II was 82.90%, and channel III was 69.07%. So that channel I is the most efficient farmer's share received by the farmer.
