IDENTIFIKASI MOLEKULER ULAT KANTONG YANG DITEMUKAN DI PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT DI KECAMATAN SUNGAI ROTAN, KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM
There are various kinds of insect pests in oil plam plants, one of which being bagworms. Some species of bagworms that are often seen in oil palm plantations are Metisa plana, Clania tertia, Mahasena corbetti, and Ptetoma pendula. The DNA barcoding stages consist of DNA extraction, DNA amplification using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), electroforesis, and sequencing of the COI gene. Identification of bagworms using the single gene DNA sequencing method is an identification method that can identify bagworms accurately. Characterized by samples of Clania tertia (CT1, CT2, CT3) related to Metisa plana and Pteroma pendula from China and Malaysia (87.99-96.64%); Mahasena corbetti (MC1, MC2, MC3) related to Mahasena corbetti and Psychidae sp. ( 9 1.13-99.34%); Metisa plana (MP1, MP2, MP3) Dappula sp. from Papua New Guinea, Eumeta minuscula from China Eumeta variegata from India, Mahasena oolona from China, Plutorectis crocobathra from Australia, and Phalacropterix grastinella from Slovenia (81.05-86.13%); Pteroma pendula (PP1, PP2, PP3) Mahasena aurea from South Korea and Japan Mahasena oolona from China, Metisa plana from Malaysia, and Pteroma pendula from Malaysia (86.32-88.79%).
