PEMETAAN DAERAH RAWAN KEBAKARAN HUTAN DAN LAHAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE WEIGHTED OVERLAY BERBASIS SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS (SIG) (STUDI KASUS: KABUPATEN MUSI BANYUASIN)
Parameters such as land cover, slope, altitude and land type are the main factors causing the high level of danger of forest and land fires in Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research aims to create a zoning map prone to forest and land fires, as well as carry out analysis to improve efforts to mitigate forest and land fire disasters as optimally as possible. The research method used is the weighted overlay method. The results of this research divide the forest and land fire areas in Musi Banyuasin Regency into 5 classifications. Areas with a very low fire danger level cover a percentage of 0.36%, low fire danger levels cover a percentage of 5.23%, while moderate fire danger levels cover a percentage of 65.75%. Areas with a high level of fire danger have a percentage of 15.46%, while areas with a very high level of fire danger reach a percentage of 13.20%.
