KARAKTERISASI RESERVOIR MENGGUNAKAN INVERSI SEISMIK IMPEDANSI AKUSTIK (IA) DAN MULTI ATRIBUT SEISMIK LAPANGAN “Y"
Acoustic impedance inversion seismic and multiattribute seismic are one of the seismic methods that can be used in reservoir characterization. By using this method, we can properly separate the sandstone and shale of the Talang Akar Formation found in the Y Field, South Sumatra Basin. These two methods will mutually strengthen each other in order to obtain more valid results in reservoir distribution and characterization. The best seismic acoustic inversion method in this research is model based inversion. Meanwhile, for multi-attribute seismic used is gamma ray volume and density. The results of the acoustic impedance inversion analysis carried out, the reservoir distribution map has an impedance value of 8489.14 (m/s)*(g/cc)-9809.98 (m/s)*(g/cc). Meanwhile, for the multi-attribute gamma ray, it has a value of 126-139 API which explains the differences in lithology between sandstone and shale and the multi-attribute density value is 1.91-3.12 gr/cm3 in the reservoir characterization distribution area in the Talang Akar formation, South Sumatra Basin. In the BRF target horizon zone there are 2 new prospect zone areas, and in the H1-A horizon target zone there are also 2 new prospect zone areas.
