ANALISIS UPAYA GURU PPKn DALAM MENERAPKAN TOLERANSI ANTAR UMAT BERAGAMA DI SMA KUSUMA BANGSA PALEMBANG
This study aims to determine the efforts of Civics teachers in implementing tolerance between religious communities at Kusuma Bangsa High School Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, documentation, and observation techniques. The validity test in this study includes the reliability test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The analysis techniques used in this research include data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that there are two efforts of Civics teachers in implementing inter-religious tolerance at Kusuma Bangsa High School Palembang, namely first, modelling and fostering students' tolerance through habituation to pray according to religion in class and participation of teachers and students in religious activities at school. Second, teachers foster appreciation for differences by emphasising learning to tolerate in class according to the material taught by connecting learning with everyday examples and explaining material universally without offending other religions Keywords: Pancasila and civic education teacher’s effort, religious tolerance, student
