METODE DBSCAN (DENSITY-BASED SPATIAL CLUSTERING OF APPLICATIONS WITH NOISE) UNTUK PENGELOMPOKAN SISWA BERDASARKAN POLA PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI PERPUSTAKAAN DIGITAL DALAM PENINGKATAN LITERASI SISWA
This study employed the DBSCAN (Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise) method to cluster the digital library application usage patterns of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 11 Indralaya. Data were collected from 75 students, and the variables analyzed included activity level, reading duration, comprehension level, and question-answering ability. The clustering results revealed five distinct clusters: Cluster 0 comprised students with high activity and good comprehension; Cluster 1 was dominated by students with moderate activity and average comprehension; Clusters 2 and 3 exhibited moderate engagement; and Cluster 4 consisted of students with low activity. Validation using the Silhouette Score (0.867) and ANOVA analysis confirmed excellent clustering quality and significant differences among clusters. The clustering outcomes provide a strategic basis for developing tailored application features that address the specific needs of each student group, thereby optimizing learning interventions to enhance literacy.
