EFEK PREBIOTIK DARI TEPUNG UBI JALAR UNGU (IPOMOEA BATATAS L. POIR) TERHADAP LAJU KONSUMSI, EFISIENSI KONVERSI, DAN PERTUMBUHAN MAGGOT BSF (HERMETIA ILLUCENS)
Organic waste can be minimized by using a bioconversion agent, namely Black Soldier Fly maggot. BSF maggots need good food so that they can speed up their life processes and the process of digesting food. The aim of this research was to determine the best feed composition with the addition of purple sweet potato flour, coconut dregs and pineapple peel on consumption rate, conversion efficiency and growth of BSF maggots. This research was carried out from October 2024 until completion. This research was experimental, namely using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments with 6 repetitions each. Observation variables include consumption rate, conversion efficiency (ECD), and growth. Data analysis used the one way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test and the SPSS 30.00 Duncan test. Based on the research results, it shows that the best composition of organic waste from coconut pulp, pineapple peel, and purple sweet potato flour in this study was in the P3 treatment (40% coconut pulp, 40% pineapple peel, and 20% purple sweet potato flour) in terms of consumption rate and growth parameters (weight, length, width), but the highest conversion efficiency (ECD) was in the P0 treatment (50% coconut pulp, 50% pineapple peel).
