APLIKASI SENSOR Ph TANAH (SKJ-001) DALAM RANCANG BANGUN OTOMASI Ph TANAH PADA TANAMAN ANGGREK MENGGUNAKAN MIKROKONTROLER ESP32 BERBASIS IOT
Plant growth and development depend on the availability of balanced nutrients, one of which is nutrients from a stable pH, which can make plants grow and develop optimally. If the pH is low, it causes low nutrient absorption, making the leaves yellow and growth slow, while too high a pH can cause plant roots to die. One of the plants that requires a balanced pH for its growth process is the Cymbidium orchid. Cymbidium orchid plants require a soil pH of around 5,5–6,5. To reduce the failure of growth and development of orchid plants due to unstable soil pH, a soil pH automation system is needed that can be monitored remotely. Therefore, in this research, the development of a soil pH automation design using ESP32 based on IoT is carried out. The design of soil pH automation using ESP32 is based on IoT so that the condition of soil pH can be monitored remotely through a smartphone that has downloaded the Blynk application. This soil pH automation is made using a SKJ-001 soil pH sensor to measure soil pH, an HC-SR04 ultrasonic to measure the height of the solution, and a 5 VDC pump to flow NaOH and HCl solutions to keep the pH stable. This research successfully developed a soil pH automation design so that the average accuracy value was 98,606%, precision 99,192%, and error 0,581%.
