ANALISIS PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI KELOMPOK AKSESI T1 DAN TR1 PADA BC2F4 HASIL PERSILANGAN PADI VARIETAS INPAGO 5 DENGAN INPARA 8 PADA LAHAN RAWA LEBAK DANGKAL
Rice is a type of “seasonal crop that has a short life cycle, usually less than one year, only able to produce once. The total area of lebak swamp land in Indonesia is estimated at 13.3 million hectares and is spread across the islands of Sumatra, Kalimantan and Papua. Excessive waterlogging during the vegetative phase, especially due to flooding and heavy rains after planting seedlings, inhibits plant growth and reduces rice productivity in lebak land. This study aims to analyze the growth and production of accession groups T1 and TR1 on BC2F4 resulting from the crossing of rice varieties Inpago 5 with IR 64 which has optimal growth and production. The research was conducted on shallow lebak swamp land located in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan Sub-district, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. This study used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with accession T1, accession TR1, IR 64 and Inpago 5 consisting of 3 replications, each replication contained 96 plants. Data obtained from observations and measurements were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Furthermore, to find out the best accession is determined using the smallest real difference test (BNT) at the 5% level. The results of the analysis show that Accessions T1 and TR1 have a fairly high growth and production yield. In this study, the accession/variety that had the highest production yield was the IR 64 variety. This study also showed that accessions T1 and TR1 gave a good response to the vegetative phase and generative phase.
