K-MEANS UNTUK MENGANALISIS PERUBAHAN PENGELOMPOKAN KABUPATEN DAN KOTA DI SUMATERA SELATAN BERDASARKAN TINGKAT PRODUKSI TANAMAN PADI DAN PALAWIJA TAHUN 2019-2021
Cluster analysis groups objects based on similar characteristic values into clusters. One cluster method is K-Means. This research groups districts in South Sumatra based on the production variables of rice, corn, peanuts and cassava in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The aim is to observe whether there are changes in the grouping. The best grouping results are taken based on the standard deviation value. The number of best groups for the three years was 4, 4 and 5 clusters respectively. The results of the 2019 and 2020 district groupings have similarities or no changes in the cluster members. The characteristics of 2019 and 2020 with 4 clusters, namely cluster 1, rice production and 3 other variables are at a high level with the members being Ogan Komering Ilir, Banyuasin and East Ogan Komering Ulu Regencies. Cluster 2 produces rice at a low level and corn at a high level with members from South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Cluster 3 has rice production at a high level and 3 other variables at a low level with members from Musi Rawas to Ogan Ilir Regencies. Cluster 4 rice production and 3 other variables at low level with members from Ogan Komering Ulu to Pali Regencies. However, there will be an increase in the production of rice and secondary crops in 2021. As a result, in 2021 a 5th cluster was formed with members from North Musi Rawas, Palembang, Prabumulih, Pagar Alam, Lubuk Linggau and Pali Regencies.
