PEMBUATAN PETA BISING DENGAN SOFTWARE GOLDEN SURFER SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGENDALIAN KEBISINGAN DI POWER PLANT PT. X, JAWA TENGAH
Noise in industrial work environments, particularly in the Power Plant sector, is a major concern due to its significant impact on workers' health and safety. This study aims to map the noise levels in the Power Plant unit of PT. X using Golden Surfer software. The research method used was descriptive-analytic with noise measurements at 35 sampling points using a grid method. Measurements were conducted on August 14, 2024, using a PCE-322A Sound Level Meter. The results showed a variation in noise levels from 64.10 dBA to 104.75 dBA, with 42.86% of measurement points exceeding the Noise Exposure Limit (NEL) of 85 dBA. Area G3 was identified as having the highest noise level, ranging from 103.1 to 106 dBA. The high-level noise exposure has the potential to cause noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and non-auditory health risks The resulting noise contour map visualizes the noise distribution throughout the area, identifying critical zones that require special handling. Although PT. X has implemented various noise control efforts, there are still areas that require special attention and further control. The noise map can be used as a basis for layout planning, evaluation of the effectiveness of control efforts, and the formulation of strategic approaches for safeguarding the health and safety of workers within the energy industry.
