PERBANDINGAN ANALISIS REGRESI LINIER BERGANDA DAN REGRESI KOMPONEN UTAMA PADA FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI UPAH MINIMUM PROVINSI DI INDONESIA TAHUN 2022
Minimum Wage is a minimum standard used by employers to pay workers in a business environment. In Indonesia, each province sets a minimum wage that varies. This determination is based on the calculation of the current year's minimum wage plus the multiplication of the current year's minimum wage, inflation, and the growth of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB). This study examines whether the five independent variables, namely, the average hourly wage of workers, the food poverty line, the non-food poverty line, the gross regional domestic product, and the ADHK PDRB growth rate have an effect on the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) and may be considered for inclusion in the determination calculation. The analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression. But there is a multicollinear problem because these variables are interconnected. To overcome this, principal component regression can be used. The purpose of this research is to get the best model between multiple linear regression analysis and principal component regression in the UMP problem in Indonesia in 2022. The best model selection uses a comparison of the largest coefficient of determination (R^2) and the smallest Mean Square Error (MSE). The multiple linear regression model formed is Y ̂=915499+101,33X_1. The principal component regression model formed is Y ̂=27294463+225615W_1. The obtained values of 〖 R〗^2 and MSE in multiple linear regression are 0,5464 and 1,53718E+11, respectively, while in principal component regression they are 0,383 and 2,10463E+11. The best model selected for the factors affecting UMP in Indonesia in 2022 is multiple linear regression.
