Palembang City is the most populous area in South Sumatra with 18 sub-districts and a population of 1.72 million people in June 2022. Palembang City also has health facilities, namely hospitals that are supported by Emergency Unit (ER) and Emergency Room (IGD) facilities. This research aims to optimize the ER of each sub-district in Palembang City by formulating the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Complex Proportional Assesment (COPRAS) methods using Ms. Excel application. From the TOPSIS method with the criteria used so that the optimal order of hospitals that can be visited from each sub-district is obtained, namely RSU DR AK Gani – RSIA YK Madira – RS Ar-Rasyid – RSIA Rika Amelia – RSK Paru – RSIA Trinanda – RSIA Mama – RSIA Marrisa – RSU Siloam Sriwijaya. By using the COPRAS method based on the criteria used, the optimal sequence of hospitals that can be visited from each sub-district is obtained, namely RSU Siloam Sriwijaya – RSIA Rika Amelia – RSK Paru – RSIA Trinanda – RSIA Mama – RS Ar- Rasyid – RSIA YK Madira – RSIA Marrisa – RSU DR AK Gani. The recommended method used is the COPRAS method because the results obtained vary in order, and the COPRAS method is easy to understand and use.
