ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN SALURAN PEMBUANGAN AIR LIMBAH DI RUMAH TANGGA DI DESA IBUL BESAR
Wastewater drainage is a channel employed to collect and dispose of wastewater from bathrooms, laundry, and kitchens. The large amount of household waste in the surrounding environment is due to the community's relatively low awareness and behavior regarding healthy living. Most people living in rural areas still dispose of household wastewater from activities such as bathing, washing, and using toilets directly into the environment. This study aims to identify the factors related to the management of household wastewater drainage (SPAL) in Ibul Besar Village. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design is employed in this research. The sampling method is conducted using a simple random sampling technique, with a sample of 120 families. The research instruments employed include a questionnaire and an observation sheet. Data analysis is performed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. The results indicate that 65% of respondents do not meet the SPAL requirements. A significant relationship is found between education (P-Value = 0.005), income (P-Value = 0.002), and PHBS (P-Value = 0.006) and the management of household wastewater drainage (SPAL) in Ibul Besar Village. However, clean water facilities (P-Value = 0.622), waste management (P-Value = 0.094), and the government's role (P-Value = 0.377) do not demonstrate a significant relationship with SPAL management. In conclusion, education, income, and PHBS are significantly associated with the management of household wastewater drainage (SPAL) in Ibul Besar Village, whereas clean water facilities, waste management, and the government's role do not have a significant impact.
