REPRESENTASI JENIS KEMISKINAN DALAM NOVEL MARS (MIMPI ANANDA RAIH SEMESTA) KARYA AISHWORO ANG DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
This study examines the representation of types of poverty in the novel MARS (Mimpi Ananda Raih Semesta) by Aishworo Ang. The objectives of this study are: (1) To describe the types of poverty in the novel MARS by Aishworo Ang. (2) To describe the implications of the results of the study of the representation of types of poverty in the novel MARS by Aishworo Ang on learning Indonesian. The approach used in this study is the sociology of literature approach. The data and data sources of this study are in the form of quotations from the novel MARS by Aishworo Ang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The steps in data analysis carried out for this study are data collection, data classification, data entry, data description, and conclusions. The results of this study concluded that there were thirty-eight poverty data in the novel MARS by Aishworo Ang, 35 data included absolute poverty and 3 data included relative poverty. The results of this study can be used in learning Indonesian in junior high and senior high schools with the independent curriculum. The implications for junior high school level lie in class VIII of Junior High School (SMP), right in class VIII in Learning Achievements (CP) students are able to study the structure and language of review texts (films, short stories, poetry, novels, regional works of art) that are listened to and read. At the Senior High School (SMA) level, the results of this research have implications for class XII through CP students being able to analyze the content and language of novels.
