NILAI RASIONALISME SISWA SMP MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA DIGITAL WORKSHEETS KONTEN GEOMETRI KONTEKS AGROWISATA
The value of rationalism is one of the mathematical values that develops students' skills in reasoning, expressing and defending opinions, interpreting data obtained and trying to make predictions. This research aims to describe the rationalism value of junior high school students using digital media worksheets in the context of agrotourism as material on the surface area of tubes with the research subjects being 3 class IX students of SMP Negeri 13 Palembang who were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using tests, observations and interviews. The results of this research are that learning using digital technology-based learning media, worksheets on geometry content in agrotourism contexts, can bring out the value of rationalism. Students can generate indicators representing real objects into mathematical objects and write down information that corresponds to the elements of a cylinder, investigate the appropriate networks in the problem object and write down the reasons for each solution step, and draw conclusions. The indicator that appears most frequently is representing real objects into mathematical objects and the indicator that appears least frequently is providing reasons/arguments in each solution step. The dominant difficulty is errors from investigative activities and understanding mathematical concepts regarding the surface area of spatial figures, students are fixated on memorizing formulas.
