ANALISIS HASIL NANOSILICA BERBAHAN DASAR FLY ASH MENGGUNAKAN METODE HIDROTERMAL DENGAN VARIASI SUHU PENGERINGAN
Fly ash is a coal combustion byproduct rich in silica and alumina, was synthesized using the hydrothermal method with drying temperatures of 100°C, 110°C, and 125°C to assess its impact on crystal structure, elemental composition, and morphology. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that crystallinity increased with temperature, with sharper diffraction peaks at 125°C. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) analysis revealed a denser morphology at 110°C, while 125°C produced a smoother surface but showed signs of agglomeration. X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) results confirmed that SiO₂, Al₂O₃, and Fe₂O₃ were the dominant components, with SiO₂ content increasing at higher temperatures. The optimal drying temperature of 110°C yielded a more homogeneous and mechanically stable structure, with approximately 55% silica purity, a crystal size of 73.97 nm, and a crystallinity of 2.65%, while the amorphous phase accounted for 97.34%.
