KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA PADA MATERI PROGRAM LINEAR MELALUI PBL BERBANTUAN DESMOS GRAPHING CALCULATOR
This research aims to describe students' mathematical problem solving abilities in linear programming material through problem based learning (PBL) assisted by the Desmos graphing calculator. The subjects of this research were class X.1 students at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. This type of research is descriptive which consists of three stages, namely observation, tests and interviews. The data obtained will be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the research, the results showed that students' mathematical problem solving abilities after using problem-based learning (PBL) with the help of the Desmos graphing calculator were categorized as moderate. Students' ability to understand the problem is categorized as high, because students have been able to write down important information in the questions in the form of what they know and ask. Furthermore, the indicator of making a problem solving plan is categorized as moderate, because students are able to create mathematical models and determine the objective function and objective function. Meanwhile, the indicator for implementing the problem solving plan was categorized as low, because some students made calculation errors. The indicator for checking the results of problem solving is also categorized as low, because only a few students can check the answers correctly.
