PENGARUH PEMBERIAN KOMBINASI TERAPI RELAKSASI BENSON DAN RELAKSASI OTOT PROGRESIF (ROP) TERHADAP KUALITAS TIDUR PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI
Many are found hypertension patients who experience sleep quality problems. Hypertensive patients usually experience symptoms such as dizziness, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) headaches, dyspnea, and nocturia which can interfere with sleep and have an impact on poor sleep quality. The sleep quality of hypertensive patients will also be influenced by the inpatient environment such as noise and air temperatures that are too hot or cold. As a nurse, it is important to consider complementary therapies in order to reduce the side effects of medical therapy received by patients, and can be done independently. This study aims to determine the influence of providing the combination of Benson relaxation therapy and Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) on the sleep quality of hypertensive patients. This study is a quantitative study using a pre-experimental design with One Group Pretest Posttest. The sample of this study was 32 respondents selected using a non-probability sampling type using a purposive sampling technique. Each respondent was given intervention for 3 times with a duration of 30-40 minutes every night before going to bed. Sleep quality was measured using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with an interpretation of the value (α = 0.05). The results showed a p-value = 0.000
