DAYA ANALGESIK EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN PEPAYA (Carica Papaya L.) TERHADAP RASA NYERI PADA MENCIT JANTAN GALUR SWISS WEBSTER DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This research aimed to determine the analgesic power of ethanol extract of papaya leaves (Carica Papaya L.) against male mice of swiss webster strains induced by 0.7% acetic acid intraperitonially and to determine the effective dose to reduce the number of writhing male mice of swiss webster strains induced by acetic acid. The test animals used were male swiss webster mice as many as 25 ecots which were divided into 5 groups. Group 1 was given distilled water solution as control, group II was given papaya leaf ethanol extract at a dose of 70 mg/kg BB, group III was given papaya leaf ethanol extract at a dose of 140 mg/kg BB, group IV was given papaya leaf ethanol extract at a dose of 280 mg/kg BB, and group V was given 500 mg mafenamic acid as a comparator. The parameter measured in the writhing test method is to count the number of writhing mice every 5 minutes for 60 minutes. Statistical analysis using ANOVA test showed that ethanol extract of papaya leaves has analgesic power characterized by a significant value of P < 0.05 and continued with Duncan test. Ethanol extract of papaya leaves has the best analgesic power is the ethanol extract of papaya leaves at a dose of 140 mg / kg B whose results are close to the comparator. The most effective time to test analgesic power in the writhing test method at the 30th minute. Information on the results of this study is expected to be material in learning biology in SMA phase F class XI, on the material of the nervous system in the animal world. Keywords : papaya leaf, male mice, analgesic, writhing
