PENERAPAN PJBL-STEM DENGAN ASESMEN FORMATIF MATERI SPLTV UNTUK MELIHAT KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA KELAS X SMA
Problem-solving is the basis of mathematics learning, where students should develop their mathematical ideas in order to solve various forms of mathematical problems, especially during the era of Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. Learning with PjBL-STEM provides opportunities for students to develop their problem-solving skills. The purpose of PjBL-STEM learning is also to help students gain understanding and creativity as their problem-solving abilities develop. This study aims to examine students' problem-solving skills using Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning (STEM) with Formative Assesment using the Three Variable Linear Equation System material. This study applies a qualitative method and uses George Polya's theory of problem-solving skills. Data collection techniques used were observation, written tests, and interviews. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and continued with qualitative analysis. Based on the research that has been conducted, the problem-solving ability of class X students at SMA N 1 Palembang is classified as moderate. Furthermore, the problem-solving indicators that emerged, including: 1) Understanding the problem with an occurrence percentage of 66.7%; 2) Planning a settlement strategy of 65.3%; 3) Implementing a settlement strategy of 75.7%; and 4) Looking back at the completion results of 59.5%.
