The use of synthetic chemical pesticides poses significant issues that can be harmful if applied continuously, as they may also eliminate beneficial soil arthropods along with pests. This study aimed to investigate the impact of applying entomopathogenic endophytic fungi on the abundance and diversity of soil arthropod species in corn cultivation. The entomopathogenic endophytic fungi were applied at a conidia concentration of 1 x 1010 conidia/mL by spraying them onto the leaves of plants during the time when the chlorophyll was fully developed, around 08:00 AM. In the sampling with pitfall traps we collected 25 species and in Berlese funnel we collected 8 species arthropod, the highest counts of predatory arthropods were observed in the control group and in Beauveria bassiana, which yielded results similar to those of the control. Meanwhile, phytophagous arthropods were recorded in Metarhizium anisopliae, with counts also noted in the control group. For neutral arthropods, the control group exhibited the highest numbers, followed by Penicillium citrinum. The findings from this research indicated that using various isolates of entomopathogenic endophytic fungi did not significantly differ from the control in terms of the abundance and diversity of soil arthropod species. Furthermore, no isolate of entomopathogenic endophytic fungi was found to affect the abundance and diversity of these soil arthropod populations. Finally, the results indicated that entomopathogenic endophytic fungi do not harm the abundance or diversity of soil arthropod species since they do not reduce their populations. Among the treatments, Beauveria bassiana demonstrated the closest results to those observed in the control group regarding population abundance. For further research, entomopathogenic endophytic fungi can be applied by combining leaf spraying and root watering together. Harmless to soil-dwelling arthropod
