Sambiloto leaf extract (Andrographis paniculata) contains secondary metabolites, one of which is flavonoid. Flavonoid have a special compound, quercetin, which has the potential to stimulate probiotic and antibacterial activity. The extract has a bitter taste so that it is formulated in the form of orally dissolving film (ODF) preparation which is expected to cover the bitter taste and provide an attractive appearance. This study aims to determine the effect of ODF preparation of sambiloto leaf extract to stimulate probiotic Bifidobacterium longum (B. longum) in inhibiting Escherichia coli (E. coli). Extraction of sambiloto leaves using 96% ethanol solvent by maceration method. ODF formulation with solvent casting method. Probiotic growth test of B. longum with Total Plate Count (TPC) method and antibacterial activity test with paper disc diffusion method.
