Pest attacks have a significant impact on oil palm, including decreased production and death of oil palm plants. In general, natural enemies can be categorized as parasitoid insects, predatory insects, insect pest pathogens, pest-eating vertebrate animals, and disease-causing antagonistic agents. Predatory spiders exhibit high mobility and are active both during the day and at night.
