PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI KELOMPOK AKSESI T3 DAN TR3 PADA GENERASI BC2F4 HASIL PERSILANGAN PADI VARIETAS INPAGO 5 DENGAN INPARA 8 PADA LAHAN RAWA LEBAK DANGKAL
Planting superior varieties with high quality and quantity of yield can increase rice productivity in non tidal swamp. To achieve this, plant breeding is used to cultivate superior varieties. The objective of this research is to evaluate and obtain T3 and TR3 accessions from the BC2F4 crossbreeding of Inpago 5 and IR64 rice varieties that grow rapidly and have high production levels. This variety can be used as a new superior variety. The research was conducted in the shallow swampy areas of Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, from June to October 2024. To assess the growth and production of T3 and TR3 accessions, as well as the Inpago 5 and IR64 varieties, a randomized block design with 3 replications was used. To identify differences between accessions and varieties, the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method was used to collect data. Next, the data were tested using the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at the 5% level. Based on plant height parameters, such as the number of tillers, number of productive tillers, flowering age, harvest age, panicle length, number of grains per panicle, percentage of filled grains, grain weight per clump, and 100-grain weight, the research results showed a good response in growth and production in the T3 and TR3 accession groups in BC2F4.
