Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the main contributors to the Indonesian economy that need technical efficiency to be able to compete and grow. This study aims to analyze the technical efficiency of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in chip processing in Asahan Regency using the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) method. The data used consists of primary data obtained from interviews with 15 MSME entrepreneurs under the guidance of the Cooperatives, Industry, and Trade Office of Asahan Regency. The variables analyzed include labor, capital, and production as input and output variables. The analysis results indicate that the Chip Processing MSMEs in Asahan Regency are technically efficient, with an average technical efficiency score of 0.72. Further analysis reveals significant technical inefficiencies in chip production. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the SFA method is effective in identifying technical efficiency levels as well as the factors influencing inefficiency in MSMEs. One of the ways MSMEs improve technical efficiency is through labor optimization and the use of more modern production technology..
