This study aimed to evaluate the quality and recognize the category rice of Sinar Jaya Factory based on Indonesian National Standard premium or medium rice. This research was a quantitative descriptive research that aimed to explain existing facts using numbers which aimed to describe the characteristics of data presented. The study used five different types of rice, namely IR64, IR42, Pak Tiwi, Pandan Wangi and Siam Unus. Parameters analyzed included : moisture content, whole rice, heads, broken grains, groats, red grains, yellow/damaged grains, calcified grains, foreign matter and grain grains. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The results of this study indicated that all rice varieties in the Sinar Jaya Factory (IR64, IR42, Pak Tiwi, Pandan Wangi and Siam Unus) were icluded in the quality criteria for medium 1 grade rice based on Indonesian National Standards 6128:2015.
