PERILAKU KONSUMEN GULA AREN DI PASAR INDRALAYA KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
Palm sugar consumer behavior is influenced by the quality of palm sugar and several other aspects. The Purposes of this search: (1) Identifying the characteristics of consumers who use palm sugar (2) Calculating the amount of palm sugar consumed by consumers (3) Analyzing the factors that influence palm sugar consumption. This research was conducted at Indralaya Market, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used is a survey method. The sampling method uses the accidental sampling method. The research results showed that (1) the age characteristics of the respondents were mostly in the late adult phase as much as 42.5%. Education level, most of the respondents were junior high school graduates as much as 45%. Furthermore, most of the respondents' job types are entrepreneurs, 60%. The gender of the respondents in this study was 100% female. (2) the amount of palm sugar consumed in this study includes the average volume of palm sugar used in one consumption is 675 grams and the average frequency of palm sugar used in one month is 9,23 kg/month (3) the price and number of family members has a significant effect on the amount of palm sugar consumed, while age, education, texture, color do not have a significant effect on the amount of palm sugar consumed.
