HUBUNGAN KEANEKARAGAMAN PANGAN DAN POLA MAKAN DENGAN KEJADIAN ANEMIA PADA ANAK DI SDN 072 KOTA PALEMBANG
Anemia is one of the nutritional problems caused by iron deficiency. In general, food diversity and diet are the direct causes of anemia. Poor food diversity and diet can lead to anemia. Children are an age group that is vulnerable to iron deficiency. In the process of growth and development, adequate nutritional intake is required. If children's nutritional intake is not balanced, then children will be prone to iron deficiency. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between food diversity and diet with the incidence of anemia in children at SDN 072 Palembang City. This study used observational research with a cross sectional approach on 80 school children with sampling using simple random sampling technique. The results of univariate analysis showed that most school children had good food diversity (58.8%), as well as poor dietary patterns (76.3%), and found school children who experienced anemia (3.8%). Bivariate results showed that there was no relationship between food diversity and the incidence of anemia in children (p-value 1 > 0.05) and there was no relationship between dietary patterns and the incidence of anemia in children (p-value 0.562 > 0.05). This study concluded that poor dietary diversity and poor diet may lead to a higher risk of anemia. Suggestions to future researchers, it is expected to continue this research using the FQ-FFQ method, so that the most dominant factor causing the onset of anemia is known.
