This research aims to determine the efficiency of using chicken manure on the growth and yield of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) Tajuk Variety. This research will be carried out in Tanjung Pering, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra with coordinates 003°13'00" South Latitude and 104°38'16" East Longitude. Meanwhile, analysis activities were carried out at the Plant Physiology Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Sriwijaya University. The research was carried out from May to August 2023. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RDB) which consisted of 4 treatments and 3 replications, then each treatment contained 3 plants, so that there were a total of 36 plants. P0 = Control, P1 = Chicken manure 10 tons/ha or 1.5 kg/plot, P2 = Chicken manure 20 tons/ha or 3 kg/plot, P3 = Chicken manure 30 tons/ha or 4.5 kg /plot. The parameters observed were leaf length, number of leaves, number of tillers, number of bulbs, bulbs diameter, root length, level of leaf greenness, chlorophyll content, fresh weight of bulbs, dry weight of bulbs, wet weight of bulbs, dry weight of bulbs, leaf area, bulbs volume and production per plot. Based on research results, the application of chicken manure at a dose of 4.5 kg/plot in the P3 treatment resulted in a significant effect on leaf length parameters in the third to eighth week, the level of greenness of the leaves in the third week, and chlorophyll content. in the second week.
