PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK NPK DAN PUPUK KANDANG AYAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN UBI JALAR (IPOMOEA BATATAS L.)
Sweet potatoes (Ipomoea batatas L.) are one of the staple foods for a group of Indonesians, therefore the sweet potato plant plays an important role in the position of the national food barn. Sweet potatoes have quite high nutritional content, besides that they also have quite good selling value. This research aims to obtain the optimum dose of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer for the growth and production of sweet potato plants (Ipomoea batatas L.). The method used in this research was a Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD), with 9 treatment combinations with 3 replications, each unit contained 1 plant, so a total of 81 plant were obtained. First factor A1 = control, A2 = 100 kg, A3 = 200 kg, second factor O1 = control, O2 = 10 tons, O3 = 20 tons. In this study, the parameters observed consisted of main stem length, number of branches, number of leaves, number of tubers, tuber volume, tuber weight and tuber length. The results of this study showed that the treatment of chicken manure and NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on stem length, tuber volume and tuber diameter. However, it had no real effect on the number of branches, number of leaves, number of tubers, weight of tubers and length of tubers. Keywords: NPK fertilizer, chicken manure, and sweet potato.
