ANALISIS FAKTOR PENYEBAB CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER PADA PROYEK KONSTRUKSI DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Changes in construction projects frequently occur due to various factors, known as Contract Change Order (CCO). This study aims to identify the factors causing CCO in construction projects in Palembang, analyze its impacts, and formulate mitigation strategies to minimize potential risks. A quantitative research approach was used by distributing questionnaires to respondents consisting of project owners and contractors. Data analysis was conducted using the Guttman Scale and Relative Importance Index (RII). The results indicate that the main causes of CCO include design changes, planning errors, site conditions that do not match the initial plans, and administrative constraints. The impacts include project delays, increased costs, and potential conflicts between stakeholders. To mitigate these impacts, this study recommends more thorough planning, improved communication between project owners and contractors, and the implementation of stricter project management systems.
