This study aims to see how the leadership function of the Karang Bindu village head. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research approach, with interview and observation techniques. The results of the study show that the leadership function of the Karang Bindu village head, Rambang Kapak Tengah District, Prabumulih City by looking at the instructive function indicator shows results that are not yet good. In the consultative function, there are some that show a positive impact but the feedback mechanism sub-indicator is not optimal and the participation function shows a positive impact. Furthermore, the delegation function shows a good impact and the control function shows less good results. Based on these five indicators, it can be said that the leadership function of the Karang Bindu village head, Rambang Kapak Tengah District, Prabumulih City has not been implemented optimally. Efforts that can be made by the Karang Bindu village government are that the village head is more active in delivering tasks and communicating directly, giving awards to officials who carry out their duties well, the village head carries out feedback mechanisms routinely and consistently, the village government creates skills training independently, creates work standards or work guidelines for officials and the village head is more active in coming to the village head's office.
