STRATEGI PUBLIC RELATIONS PT KILANG PERTAMINA INTERNASIONAL REFINERY UNIT III PLAJU DALAM MENGELOLA CITRA
PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Refinery Unit III Plaju is a state-owned enterprise that processes oil and gas. As a company that is called high cost and high risk, this is a challenge for Public Relations of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Refinery Unit III Plaju itself in managing its corporate image. The data for this study were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations and documentation studies with qualitative research methods. This study uses Fred R. David's strategic management theory. The results of the study indicate that the Public Relations strategy of PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Refinery Unit III Plaju has succeeded in building and maintaining a positive corporate image in the eyes of stakeholders. Key success factors include proper issue management, effective collaboration with the media, implementation of relevant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, and active involvement in building harmonious relationships with local communities. However, there are several areas that require more attention, such as optimizing media strategies and measuring the impact of CSR programs more comprehensively.
