PENGARUH INFUSA RIMPANG TEMU MANGGA (CURCUMA MANGGA VAL.) TERHADAP ANTIINFLAMASI PADA MENCIT (MUS MUSCULUS) GALUR SWISS WEBSTER DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
Research has been conducted on the effect of mango ginger rhizome infusion (Curcuma mangga Val.) on anti-inflammation in mice (Mus musculus) to know the effect of mango ginger infusion as an anti-inflammatory in mice and find out the optimal dose to reduce the effect of induced paw edema in mice. The method used was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 6 replications. The treatment consisted of one negative control group (aquadest), one positive group (celecoxib 0.13 mg/20-30gBW) and three test groups which were given mango ginger rhizome infusion at doses P1 (2.52 mg/20-30gBW), P2 (5.04 mg/20-30gBW), and P3 (10.08 mg/20-30gBW). The mango ginger rhizome infusion solution was given by oral gavage 15 minutes before the soles of the mice's feet were induced with 1% egg white solution subplantar injection. Data were analyzed using the One Way Anova test and the Duncan distance difference test (BJND). The BJND test results showed that the mango ginger rhizome infusion at a dose of 10.08 mg/20-30gBW had an edema inhibition percentage value of 51.62%, which was the most optimal dose to inhibit inflammation. Overall, it can be concluded that mango ginger rhizome infusion has an anti-inflammatory effect on mice and has a significant difference in the average percentage of edema inhibition in the negative control and positive control treatment groups. The results of this research can be used as useful teaching material and the results will be donated in the form of LKPD on body defense system material for class XI phase F Biology in high school.
