One of the biggest threats to rice farming is unpredictable climate change every year. Rice farmers must immediately recognize this problem so that they can immediately take countermeasures to reduce losses caused by climate change. The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the climate change cycle, (2) to analyze the impact of climate change on the environment, (3) to analyze the impact of climate change on farmers' income before and after being affected by disasters due to climate change. This research was conducted in Pemulutan Ulu Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The sampling method used was a simple random method and data was collected through direct interviews with 41 rice farmers. The data collection used is primary data and secondary data. Data processing uses descriptive analysis, and Paired Samples T-test. The results of the research show (1) that the climate change cycle occurs where there is an increase in rainfall, air humidity and air temperature that occurs in Pemulutan Ulu Village, (2) it has environmental impacts due to climate change caused by disasters due to climate change, namely floods, droughts, and pest attacks which have an impact on the duration of the disaster, the area of land affected by the disaster, then the decline in production that occurs as a result of the disaster, (3) Based on the results of the Paired Sample T-test analysis carried out, there is a significant difference in farmers' income before being affected compared to income after being affected. disasters due to climate change, which of course has an impact on the sustainability of rice farming in Pemulutan Ulu village, Ogan Ilir Regency.
