The research aims to design a median park under the Light Rail Transit (LRT) in Demang Lebar Daun Urban Village, Ilir Barat I Sub-District, Palembang City. The research was conducted from August to December 2023. The design of this park has a function to make the city beautiful and provide comfort for road users. The research method used descriptive qualitative, namely field observations and interviews with the manager of the research location, with stages: 1) Inventory, 2) Interview, 3) Visual Landscape Assessment, 4) Analysis, 5) Concept Synthesis, 6) Planning and Designing, 7) Preliminary Design, 8) Consultation, and 9) Final Design. The applications used were: Sketchup Pro 2023, Lumion 6, Canva Design, Plannet, Garden Planner and Capcut. The results of the design use the concept of Ecological Architecture are presented in the form of 2D, 3D images and animated videos. The design of the Road Median Park consists of Zone 1 (Narrow Median), Zone 2 (Median Under LRT), Zone 3 (Wide Median) and Zone 4 (Intersection). The total budget required to build a road median park is around IDR. 940.414.475,00. The concept of Ecological Architecture dominates towards green open spaces so that the design facilities of hard elements and soft elements are more focused on aesthetic functions and public facilities by paying attention to the surrounding environment. The design of parks with the concept of ecological architecture is useful in improving the aesthetic function and function of public facilities with respect to the surrounding environment.
