The purpose of this research were (1) analyzing the factors influencing the success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the agricultural sector in the Gandus District of Palembang City, (2) analyzing the relationship between the success of MSMEs and the welfare of business actors in the Gandus District of Palembang City. The research was carried out in the Gandus District, specifically in the Gandus and Pulokerto Sub-districts in November 2023. The research method employed was a survey method, including interviews with business actors using a questionnaire. Both primary and secondary data were utilized. The results of this study were: (1) Factors influencing the success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the agricultural sector in the Gandus District of Palembang City include three significant factors among the five variables studied (entrepreneur characteristics, creativity, capital, partnerships, and financial literacy). The significant factors were capital, partnerships, and financial literacy, while entrepreneurial characteristics and creativity do not have a significant impact on the success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). (2) There was a significant relationship between the success of agricultural sector Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the welfare of business actors in the Gandus District of Palembang City, accounting for 64.5 percent, while the remaining 35.5 percent is influenced by other factors beyond the scope of this research.
