KEBERLANJUTAN USAHATANI KARET DILIHAT DARI PRAKTEK SISTEM BAGI HASIL USAHATANI KARET DI DESA LUBUK MUMPO KECAMATAN GUNUNG MEGANG KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM
Rubber plant (Hevea brasilliensis) is one of the main agricultural commodities that has a significant role in Indonesia and contributes greatly to the country's economy. The research conducted in Lubuk Mumpo Village, Gunung Megang Subdistrict, Muara Enim Regency aims to identify the application of the profit-sharing system between owner farmers and tappers in Lubuk Mumpo Village, Gunung Megang Subdistrict, Muara Enim Regency, identify the basis or foundation for the application of the profit-sharing system in Lubuk Mumpo Village, Gunung Megang Subdistrict, Muara Enim Regency, and determine whether the application of the profit-sharing system in Lubuk Mumpo Village, Gunung Megang Subdistrict, Muara Enim Regency is running ideally. The method used was a survey, which involved field observations, direct interviews using structured questionnaires, and secondary data collection from relevant agencies. Samples were taken using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique, with a total of 35 respondents consisting of 15 owner farmers and 20 tappers. The results showed that the profit-sharing system used in Lubuk Mumpo Village was 50:50. The basis or foundation used in the profit-sharing system is based on mutual agreement and the principle of justice without a written agreement. The research also showed that the sustainability of rubber farming in Desa Lubuk Mumpo can be maintained because the profit-sharing system provides adequate benefits for tappers, with an average income of 53%. This higher income motivates tappers to continue managing the plantations productively, thereby supporting the long-term viability of rubber farming.
