ANALISIS POTENSI KLASTER INDUSTRI MAKANAN TRADISIONAL BERSKALA KECIL DI KARAWANG
The study aims to identify the potential of small industries in the food sector in Karawang Regency. The data used includes the number of business units, labor force, and investment in small industries based on industry groups from 2018 to 2024. The analysis method applied is quantitative descriptive analysis, aimed at identifying small industries with development potential. This research employs a contribution approach, location quotient (LQ) analysis, and Klassen typology analysis. The results indicate that the traditional food industry subsector with an average LQ value > 1 during the years 2018-2024 is the assorted cake and bread industry. Based on the SWOT analysis identification results, appropriate development strategies for small industries in Karawang Regency include enhancing innovation and product quality, developing internet or digital-based marketing, and improving access to capital to increase production capacity and reach a broader market.
