This study aims to determine the performance of the 2 in 1 type YCC985S chopping and flouring machine on elephant grass with pulley variations. This research was conducted from November to December 2023 at the Sub-Laboratory of Agricultural Energy and Sub-Laboratory of Machinery, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The research method used, namely descriptive method with the treatment of differences in pulley size variations A (17.5 cm) and pulley B (21 cm). The treatment used consisted of many weights of material weights of 1 kg, 3 kg, and 5 kg. Each treatment was repeated three times on pulley A and pulley B. The results of the study obtained data on the results of chopping on pulley A and pulley B, which amounted to 2.73 kg and 2.68 kg, respectively. This is influenced by the number of materials and pulleys used. Many materials and pulleys used also affect the electric current, electric voltage, electric power, chopping time, and energy requirements. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the electric power on pulley A has an average of 1,231.19 W and pulley B has an average of 1,247.32 W, while the average current, voltage, and energy requirements on pulley A are smaller than those on pulley B, this causes the chopping time using pulley B to be longer than using pulley A. The average percentage of material remaining in the tool reaches the highest value on pulley B with a weight of 1 kg, which is 11.83%. Conversely, the lowest average percentage of material remaining was found on pulley B with a weight of 1 kg, which amounted to 9.33%. The average work capacity reached the highest value on pulley A with a weight of 1 kg, which amounted to 70.86 kg/hour. While the lowest average work capacity is found on pulley B with a weight of 1 kg, which amounted to 41.04 kg / hour.
