According to data from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS), the population of Palembang city reached 1,668,848 people, with a population growth rate of 1.38 percent per year in the last ten years. This phenomenon will be related to the problem of how the increase in the number of settlements is due to population growth. To reduce the negative impacts of the increasing number of settlements, one step that can be taken is to apply the concept of Eco-friendly houses. This study aims to analyze the application of Eco-friendly buildings at the Opi Regency housing developer in Palembang City with a quantitative approach, and using data collection methods. Data were obtained through field surveys or primary data and through the distribution of questionnaires to the developer. In this study, several main variables assessed through questionnaires have been identified as determining factors for the success of implementing Eco-friendly houses. The results of the analysis of the average value for each variable provide an indication of the extent to which these factors are considered influential by developers at Opi Regency in realizing Eco-friendly houses. The factors tested have an effect on the application of environmentally friendly house buildings in Opi Regency housing. The use of building materials that support Eco-friendly concepts, maximizing ventilation and natural lighting, efficient use of energy and electricity, implementing a sanitation system that channels rainwater into the ground, and managing household waste by separating organic and inorganic waste are also part of these criteria.
