PENGARUH CAMPURAN VARIASI PERSENTASE FLY ASH SEBAGAI SUBSTITUSI SEMEN TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK, PERMEABILITAS, DAN POROSITAS PADA BETON POROUS (PERVIOUS CONCRETE)
Indonesia, particularly the city of Palembang, is prone to flooding due to its geographical conditions and high rainfall. Therefore, the use of porous concrete can be a solution as it can control water runoff. This research examines the development of sustainable porous concrete by utilizing fly ash as a partial replacement for cement. The constituent materials of porous concrete consist of cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures such as Sikament LN, which can reduce water and increase compressive strength. An experimental method was employed in this study to analyze the effects of fly ash variations on the mechanical properties (compressive strength, tensile strength), permeability, and porosity of porous concrete. Overall, various trials were prepared by replacing cement with fly ash up to 30% in increments of 15%. An aggregate size of 12,5 mm was used to further identify its significance. The experimental findings revealed that the mechanical properties of porous concrete improved with 25% fly ash, reaching 10,43 Mpa at 28 days. After 28 days of curing, the addition of a higher proportion of fly ash (30%) resulted in a decrease in compressive strength. Another important observation was the reduction in porosity and permeability due to the increased percentage of fly ash content.
