PENGARUH CAMPURAN VARIASI UKURAN AGREGAT KASAR MENGGUNAKAN OPC (ORDINARY PORTLAND CEMENT) TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK, PERMEABILITAS, DAN POROSITAS PADA BETON POROUS (PERVIOUS CONCRETE)
Pervious concrete is an innovative material in the field of construction, characterized by high porosity, allowing efficient water flow, reducing surface runoff, and enhancing groundwater recharge. This study aims to analyze the effect of coarse aggregate size variation using OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) on the mechanical properties, permeability, and porosity of pervious concrete. The aggregate size variations used consist of 75% aggregate retained on the 12.5 mm sieve combined with 25% aggregate retained on the 19 mm, 12.5 mm, 9.5 mm, 4.75 mm, and 2.36 mm sieves, respectively. The conducted tests include compressive strength, split tensile strength, permeability, and porosity. The results indicate that smaller aggregate sizes contribute to higher compressive strength but lower permeability. The mix containing aggregates retained on the 12.5 mm and 2.36 mm sieves achieved the highest compressive strength of 12.87 MPa and split tensile strength of 4.4 MPa at 28 days, with a porosity of 25.57% and permeability of 0.38 cm/s. Conversely, the mix with aggregates retained on the 12.5 mm and 19 mm sieves exhibited higher porosity (28.56%) and permeability (0.56 cm/s) but lower compressive strength (7.8 MPa) and split tensile strength (2.6 MPa) at 28 days
