The purposes of this research were 1) Measuring the perceptions and behavior of farmers in using balanced fertilizer in rice farming activities in Mulya Sari Village, Banyuasin Regency, 2) Analyzing the relationship between farmers' perceptions and behavior towards using balanced fertilizer in rice farming activities in Mulya Sari Village. Banyuasin Regency, 3) Calculate the rice farming income obtained by farmers using balanced fertilizer in Mulya Sari Village, Banyuasin Regency. This research was carried out in Mulya Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency from November 2023 to January 2024. The research methods used in this research were the survey method and the simple random sampling method in taking research samples. The data used are primary and secondary data. The results of this research were 1) There is a high perception and behavior of respondent rice farmers regarding the use of balanced fertilizer, 2) There is a significant relationship between farmer perceptions and farmer behavior towards the use of balanced fertilizer. From the results of the Spearman rank correlation analysis with the SPSS program, results were obtained in the form of a correlation coefficient of 0.669, which means there is a strong relationship between farmers' perceptions and behavior in using balanced fertilizer in Mulya Sari Village, and 3) Average farming income received by rice farmers who use it. balanced fertilizer in Mulya Sari Village, which is IDR. 30,799,069 per hectare per planting season and is classified as a high income category.
