PENERAPAN JARINGAN SYARAF TIRUAN UNTUK MENGANALISIS PERTUMBUHAN KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.)
This research aims to find out the effect of fertilization doses on oil palm growth and approach artificial neural network models to predict oil palm growth rates by identifying vegetative growth and leaf color index. This research was conducted from November 2023 to March 2024 in Sugi Waras Village, Rambang District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra. The method used in this research is descriptive method with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The fertilization treatment consists of no fertilizer (A0), 20 g NPK fertilizer (A1), 25 g NPK fertilizer (A2), 25 g KCL fertilizer (A3), 30 g KCL fertilizer (A4). The parameters used in this study include: plant diameter, number of midribs, plant height, and leaf color index. The results showed that in the parameters of plant height and leaf color index, NPK fertilizer treatment 25 g (A2) had a significant increase compared to other treatments, in the parameter of plant diameter, KCL 30 g (A4) treatment was more significant than other treatments, while in the parameter of the number of midribs each treatment did not show a significant increase. The artificial neural network (ANN) model produces the smallest value of Mean Square Error (MSE) 2,3 x 10-3, and the smallest value of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), namely 2.84%.
