ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB KETERLAMBATAN PEKERJAAN BETON PADA PROYEK BENDUNGAN TIGA DIHAJI PAKET II DI KABUPATEN OKU SELATAN
Delays in construction projects can lead to increased costs, reduced work quality, and potential safety risks. The Tiga Dihaji Dam project in OKU Selatan Regency, particularly in Package II, has experienced significant delays in concrete work. This study aims to analyze the dominant factors contributing to these delays and propose solutions to address the issue. The research method includes distributing questionnaires using the Likert scale to 40 respondents, consisting of contractors and consultants, along with the application of the probability sampling technique to ensure respondent selection. Additionally, field observations were conducted to obtain supplementary data that support the research analysis. The findings identify five dominant factors causing delays in concrete work: late material delivery, land acquisition issues, variations in soil conditions, the impact of the rainy season, and material shortages in the market. To mitigate these issues, several solutions can be implemented, including improving transportation infrastructure and supplier communication, extending contracts and adopting a social approach to land acquisition, developing effective soil condition management strategies, optimizing work schedules during the dry season, and enhancing material procurement planning. This research is expected to contribute to construction project management, particularly in planning, resource management, and risk mitigation strategies for delays in concrete work on dam projects.
